Collection of Personal Data
At Active Education, we store and process personal information about you primarily in order to provide you with the best possible follow-up, a good experience in your studies and courses with us, and quality customer service.
We collect personal data when you visit our website, when you enroll and purchase one of our courses or educational programs, or when you subscribe to our newsletter. In addition, we collect personal data when you participate in campaigns or competitions via email or social media. You can unsubscribe from our regular newsletters at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in each email. You may also request to be removed by contacting us at info@activeeducation.no.
We do all of this to ensure you receive an optimal user experience, to follow up with you as professionally as possible, and to streamline any further dialogue with the Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences or the Norwegian College of Health Sciences. As an example, after completing your education, you may need documentation such as diplomas or certificates reissued should these be lost.
Purchases
When you enroll in or purchase one of our educational programs or courses through our website, it is necessary to collect data about you. Active Education will never sell or disclose your personal data to a third party without your consent unless it is necessary to complete a transaction (e.g., delivery of goods or sending newsletters) or required to comply with applicable law.
Active Education only shares information with partners who are authorized to use your data in connection with your education and to keep you updated on the processing of your enrollment. We also use your contact and personal information for tasks such as issuing diplomas, licenses, exam administration, etc. As of today, these partners are the Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences, the Norwegian College of Health Sciences, and Europe Active/EREPS.
