Meet our team

Björn Hansson
Teacher and Study Counselor
Björn brings over a decade of experience as a Personal Trainer, working with clients ranging from elite athletes to complete beginners. He has also spent the past seven years educating future Personal Trainers.

He holds a Master’s in Advanced Biomechanics and Exercise Physiology, providing a strong foundation in how the body responds and adapts to training. Through his teaching, Björn helps students connect scientific principles to practical coaching and real-world performance.
Reidar Moss
Teacher
Reidar brings a strong academic and practical foundation to the field of strength training. He holds a Master’s degree in Physical Performance, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy and a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science.

With his expertise, he helps students understand how strength is developed, how muscles produce force, and how training can be structured to improve performance while reducing injury risk.
Ola Furseth
Founder and Teacher
Ola has worked with people, performance, and behavior change for decades, both as a Personal Trainer and educator. As the founder of Active Education, he brings a long-term perspective on what actually drives progress in training.

 Drawing on his background in sport psychology, Ola explores how motivation is built, maintained, and sometimes lost – and how you as a coach can influence that process in a practical setting.
Ola Rosenlund
Ola brings practical experience from both personal training and sales.

After completing his education at Active Education in 2014, he worked as a Personal Trainer at SATS for five years, ranking among the top performers in PT sales and delivering over 100 sessions per month.
Jørn Stian Dahl
Jørn Stian Dahl brings a unique perspective to communication and coaching, shaped by his background as a former Olympic athlete, Personal Trainer, and coach.

With experience as PT manager at Fresh Fitness and as a lecturer in NLP for sport, he combines high-performance insight with practical communication strategies.
Miriam Myhren Bouchleh
Miriam brings a strong clinical and practical perspective to her work. As a clinical dietitian with experience in sports and endurance training, she has a deep understanding of how lifestyle, nutrition, and individual needs influence health and performance.

Her background allows her to translate complex knowledge into practical strategies, helping others better understand how to work in a structured, individualized, and results-oriented way.
Christer Fonnes
Christer has over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry, with a background as a Personal Trainer, fitness instructor, and former elite basketball player in the Norwegian top league.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and a Master’s degree in Behavioral Science, combining expertise in both physical performance and behavior change. Today, he works as an online coach, helping clients achieve sustainable results.
Ole Petter Hjelle
Ole Petter is a medical doctor with extensive experience from both hospital settings and over 15 years as a general practitioner. He holds an M.D. from the University of Oslo and is currently an associate professor, focusing on the relationship between physical activity and health.

He is also the co-host of the podcast Hjernesterk and has written several books on topics such as exercise, nutrition, sleep, and overall health. At Active Education, he teaches public health.
Kristin Lervik
Kristin Lervik Larsen is an experienced Personal Trainer and physiotherapist with a strong background in both rehabilitation and performance training.

She has particular expertise in working with pregnant women and older adults—two groups that require careful individualization and a high level of professional competence. Through her work, she focuses on safe, effective training tailored to the body’s changing needs.
Christian Thue Bjørndal
Christian Thue Bjørndal is an Associate Professor at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences, specializing in athlete and talent development.

He has particular expertise in training for children and youth, with a focus on long-term development, motivation, and skill acquisition.
